From 3abe7db36476c1962690a3de50145b333ee27cba Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Maureen Landgraf <42742611+mlandgraf1@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Thu, 8 Oct 2020 13:53:11 -0500 Subject: [PATCH] Added It by Stephen King You can't have a list of horror books with Stephen King. 'It' will always be one of my favorite King books. The book effectively uses not only Pennywise as a horror element, but also real life threats such as Henry Bowers and his gang of school bullies and Bev's abusive father. While the book is plenty chilling, you also fall in love with the tight-knit group of misfits who are able to band together and defeat a monster that has existed since the beginning of time itself. The book is not only about monsters, but the power of friendship, which makes it so much more than your typical horror novel. --- README.md | 1 + 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+) diff --git a/README.md b/README.md index b8bfe19..2e40121 100644 --- a/README.md +++ b/README.md @@ -464,6 +464,7 @@ If you like Mind Expanding books you should check out my new project http://diff ### Horror | Name | Author | Goodreads Rating | Year Published | |------|--------|------------------|----------------| +| It | Stephen King | [4.24](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/830502.It) | 1986 | | House of Leaves | Mark Z.
